My Mom has some topiary dolphins out by the pool, they get a little furry when they've grown out. Unfortunatly, her mow n blow gardener tends to hack them into gross blobs so once in a while when I visit I sheer them back into shape...

They seem to have stopped growing vertically, so they are probably starting to put energy into flowering.
New plants that I got from Orchard Nursery: Cosmos, Nicotiana (in lime and white), lantana, and Fern
I added the cosmos to the veggie bed to attract some pollinators to the veggie garden...

This penstemon was one I planted by seed about four years ago, it bloomed for the first time last year, and this year the blooms were really gorgeous!
The Borage is happy blooming away
Potatoes are a growin' and I added some soil and built up around the plants
The Dahlias are still getting bigger, I'm worried that when they bloom the flowers will break the stalks!

These blooms only last a little while a day or so, and close up at night.
