The tomatoes are doing well , they have blooms on them now. The leek is getting bigger, the Sunflowers are starting to take off, but I lost two to unknown reasons (they disappeared). The squash are hanging on but are looking like they are getting too much sun. I added two pepper plants in yesterday, I'm hoping they will do well. The Cherry Tomatoes are also doing well. So Far, better it's doing better than last year.

Oh - there is also a random carrot that I did not plant this year...

The Trachelium is Blooming. The foliage is a little more green this year, I'm thinking it needs more direct sun to develop the dark foliage.

I visited the Alsaka Botanical Garden on June 20, 2010. I really can't wait to revisit this garden in a few years they have some fantastic plans, and what they've done so far is gorgeous.

The walkways were lined with a waddle fence.
This is the interior of the Herb Garden, which is in a great octagon fenced area (I can only assume to keep the moose out).
The poppies were beautiful.

This little guys appeared in the front yard, in a gravel area between the lawn and the road. There are no plants around it for at least 20 feet in any direction, and nothing like it anywhere in sight. It's nice little surprise.

This is the third year for this Lantana. I love the color combination.

There are two of them in small pots, I'm thinking about transplanting them this year into a larger container, or maybe even into the ground somewhere.

The strawberries are coming back big time. They've got lots of flowers and all the baby birds have been eating the crickets up, so I'm hoping they don't get eaten up this time around.

Penstemon Heterophyllus 'blue springs'

This little guy is kind of hidden in Wine Barrel #1, and is hard to see but has a gorgeous light blue flower with a tinge of lavender.

These are the stages of the oyster plant, bloom, then it closes up, then it explodes in a poofball of seeds.
